Metal finishing is essential in defining both the beauty and durability of vanities. Each finish enhances the visual appeal of the product, while providing critical protection against moisture, wear, and corrosion. This structured approach ensures each vanity achieves the highest standards of quality, performance, and design. The process involves several key steps:
The raw stainless steel is meticulously cleaned and prepped to remove impurities, oxidation, or surface defects. Mechanical finishes, such as polishing or brushing are then applied to create the desired base texture and set the foundation for additional treatments.
A buffing process that smooths the stainless-steel surface with fine abrasives, creating a sleek, mirror-like finish that enhances its natural beauty.
A mechanical process that creates a uniform, linear texture with a matte, satin-like appearance, achieved using fine-grit sandpaper or brushes.
In addition to traditional finishing methods, specialized techniques can be applied to stainless steel to create unique textures, tones, and character. These processes allow for further customization, helping designers achieve specific aesthetics that range from vintage charm to modern sophistication.
A chemical or mechanical process that gives the metal an aged or weathered appearance. This is often used to create a vintage or rustic look.
Similar to antiquing, this involves applying patinas or other treatments to create a worn or oxidized effect.
A mechanical process that uses abrasive materials to create a matte or frosted texture.
Finishing applications enhance the appearance and durability of stainless steel, offering a wide range of colors, textures, and protective qualities.
A durable and economical finish that creates a smooth, even layer of color. Powder coating is available in a wide range of colors and textures, from vibrant hues to matte or glossy finishes. This process provides excellent resistance to moisture, UV rays, chipping, and fading, making it ideal for both decorative and functional applications.
Applied through a professional spray process, paint enhances the appearance and durability of stainless steel while improving resistance to wear and corrosion. Unlike powder coating, painted finishes air dry naturally without the need for curing ovens. They offer nearly limitless color possibilities, including custom shades, metallics, and textured effects, making them a flexible and efficient finishing option.
A premium finish application that uses a vacuum-based coating process to deposit a thin, durable layer of material (often metal compounds like titanium nitride or zirconium) onto a surface. The process involves vaporizing the coating material in a vacuum chamber and allowing it to condense onto the substrate, creating a strong molecular bond. This results in a highly durable, scratch-resistant, and uniform finish while offering a wide range of luxurious metallic tones, such as gold, bronze, and black. This innovative technique not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of our vanities but also reinforces our commitment to deliver exceptional, long-lasting products.
For over 20 years, we’ve built our reputation as the go-to provider of quality in the hospitality market, and we’re excited to take that commitment to the next level. We’re proud to offer PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) as an advanced finish application for our vanity bases.
Due to increasing environmental regulations, traditional electroplating facilities have become rare. As a result, the vast majority of our finish samples are now produced through the PVD process rather than traditional electroplating. This shift not only aligns with global sustainability efforts but also ensures a more consistent and durable finish for our products.
